Job summary

Electrex Industrial Solutions is hiring an Electrical Estimator - Project Manager in Michigan. The role focuses on estimating commercial and industrial projects, coordinating with PM teams, and managing client and subcontractor communications.

Ideal candidates will have a Michigan Journeyman/Masters license, extensive electrical experience, and proficiency with McCormick software and MS Office. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

Michigan Journeyman or Masters license is required.
Commercial/industrial estimating experience preferred.
10+ years combined electrical experience in commercial/industrial settings.
Valid driver’s license with good record.
Presentable with strong communication skills.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
Ability to manage crew leaders and sub-contractors.
Proficient with basic MS Office applications.
McCormick software experience preferred; training available.
Ability to read electrical blueprints.

Responsibilities

Respond to new sales leads and meet with clients or join walk-throughs.
Estimate projects from scope or blueprints provided.
Collaborate with PM team for project details as needed.
Write-up quotes for front office use.
Submit quotes and discuss details with clients.
Manage awarded projects and coordinate with clients, GC, material purchasing, foremen, electricians, subcontractors, and leadership.
Manage project financials from start to finish.
Prepare change orders as required.
Oversee monthly invoicing for all projects.
