Job summary

GPAC is seeking an experienced Electrical PM/Estimator in Redwood City, CA to lead local commercial and industrial projects from estimate through completion.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in electrical construction, with hands-on skills in both estimating and project management, and a strong ability to read drawings and specifications. You will coordinate with general contractors, suppliers, and field staff while managing budgets, schedules and change orders on multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical construction experience.
• Experience in both electrical estimating and project management.
• Strong commercial and/or industrial electrical background.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with estimating software such as Accubid, ConEst, McCormick or similar.

Responsibilities

• Estimate local commercial and industrial electrical projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes, and bid documents.
• Complete material and labor takeoffs.
• Develop project estimates and competitive bids.
• Manage awarded projects from contract through completion.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and profitability.
• Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with General Contractors, customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Work closely with Superintendents and Foremen in the field.
• Assist with project turnover and ensure successful project execution.
