GPAC is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a well-established local electrical contractor in the Norcross, GA area. The role focuses on developing accurate and competitive bids for local commercial and industrial projects, with limited travel and strong backlog of local work.

The candidate will review drawings/specifications, perform takeoffs, solicit vendor pricing, and collaborate with Project Managers and leadership to transition awarded work to the PM team.

Formación

• 3+ years of electrical estimating experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications.
• Strong understanding of electrical materials, labor, and installation methods.

Responsabilidades

• Estimate local commercial and industrial electrical projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and bid documents.
• Complete material and labor takeoffs.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Develop accurate and competitive project estimates.
• Prepare bids and proposals.
• Identify project risks, exclusions, and opportunities.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Operations, and company leadership.
• Manage multiple estimates and bid deadlines.
• Assist with transitioning awarded projects to the Project Management team.

A well-established local electrical contractor is looking to add an experienced Electrical Estimator to their team. The company has a strong backlog of local commercial and industrial projects and is looking for someone who can help develop accurate and competitive bids.

This is a great opportunity for an estimator who wants to work with a local contractor and focus on projects in the local market rather than constantly chasing work across different regions.

Responsibilities

• Estimate local commercial and industrial electrical projects


• Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and bid documents


• Complete material and labor takeoffs


• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing


• Develop accurate and competitive project estimates


• Prepare bids and proposals


• Identify project risks, exclusions, and opportunities

Requirements

• 3+ years of electrical estimating experience


• Commercial and/or industrial electrical construction background


• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications


• Strong understanding of electrical materials, labor, and installation methods


• Experience with Accubid, ConEst, McCormick, or similar software preferred


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills


• Knowledge of the local electrical construction market is a plus
