Job summary

gpac is assisting a well-established local electrical contractor in Cincinnati to find an experienced Electrical PM/Estimator. The role entails leading estimating and project management for local commercial and industrial projects, from bid to completion.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of electrical construction experience, proficiency with estimating software (Accubid/ConEst/McCormick), and the ability to read drawings and manage multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in electrical construction.
• Experience in both electrical estimating and project management.
• Strong commercial and/or industrial electrical background.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with estimating software such as Accubid, ConEst, McCormick, or similar.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Estimate local commercial and industrial electrical projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes, and bid documents.
• Complete material and labor takeoffs.
• Develop project estimates and competitive bids.
• Manage awarded projects from contract through completion.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and profitability.
• Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with General Contractors, customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Work closely with Superintendents and Foremen in the field.
• Assist with project turnover and ensure successful project execution.

A well-established local electrical contractor is looking to add an experienced Electrical PM/Estimator to their team. The company has a strong backlog of local commercial and industrial projects and is looking for someone who can handle both estimating and project management responsibilities.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of electrical construction who enjoys being involved throughout the entire process, from winning the work through project completion.
