Job summary

The Electrical Project Manager will join the Romanoff Group of Companies to oversee project plans, schedules, and execution for electrical trades on our construction projects in the Charlotte area. This role focuses on coordinating bids, submittals, RFIs, and BIM coordination to keep projects on time and within budget.

You will collaborate with field teams, suppliers, and managers to ensure safety, quality, and timely completion, supported by the company’s 100% employee-owned culture and robust

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience (construction preferred).
• 3+ years of supervisory experience.
• Proficient MS Suites (excel, word, outlook, etc.).
• Experience with project management software and reading blueprints/drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with critical layouts, manpower loading, and look-ahead schedules.
• Develop detailed layout drawings for trade material and BIM coordination.
• Attend and participate in weekly job site meetings and communicate project status.
• Manage the project utilizing the estimate and ensure schedules are met.
• Create and manage project schedules with tasks and sequencing.
• Review and process project submittals (electrical, HVAC, lighting, gear, fire alarm).
• Manage RFIs and track responses.
• Prepare cost estimates for changes in work or scope.
• Prepare monthly billings based on % complete and costs.
• Monitor project costs and report progress.
• Coordinate with Operations Manager and field teams.
