Job summary

Miller Electric Company in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Senior Project Associate for a yearlong Project Management Apprenticeship Program. This role combines hands-on learning with mentorship, supporting project teams and client relationships.

The program features in-person training in Jacksonville (Sept 2026) and Miller-led virtual classes, covering estimating, safety, and data skills to kickstart a career in construction project management.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree or IBEW licensed electrician
• REQUIRED: Strong computer & Microsoft 365 skills
• REQUIRED: Excellent oral and written communication skills
• REQUIRED: Commitment to time management and organizational skills
• REQUIRED: Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on learning environment
• REQUIRED: Authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship (no visa sponsorship)

Responsibilities

• Understand Miller Electric’s service-based approach to project management.
• Begin building long-term client relationships through diligent communication and high-quality work.
• Support the generation of estimates and proposals to win new work and schedule timelines.
• Develop a strong electrical/material vocabulary and job site etiquette.
• Work with the team to ensure project design, budget, and schedule are met.
• Collaborate with field leaders to coordinate with subcontractors and other trades.
• Assess construction progress and team needs during field visits with supervision.
• Coordinate with vendors for timely procurement and delivery of materials.
