Qualifications

  • 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in residential construction, electrical installations, residential solar, storage or EV infrastructure.
  • Track record of proactive operational excellence, experience developing, tracking and managing operations for trade-based, electrical or equivalent service networks.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the setup, support, operation and optimization for the Energy network of certified installation providers.
  • Track and develop metrics to manage projects, project costs and timelines, identify operational risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external stakeholders, contractors, and third-party firms to ensure safe installations.

Overview

Job Title: Project Manager

Schedule: 9:00am-5:00pm (flexible)

Position Summary

Our client is seeking a highly organized and results-driven Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of clients Energy product installation network to scale deployment of clients Energy products, which include bidirectional and unidirectional charging systems, stationary storage, and energy management solutions. This role will ensure seamless delivery of projects from initial customer engagement through final operations approvals, while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. The Project Manager will be responsible for the set up and commercialization of a managed installation network and support turn-key installer network operations, ensuring consistent performance, compliance, and scalability across multiple regions. This role will report to the Home Product Install & Interconnection Group Manager and work directly with the V2X and DER Enablement Lead.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the setup, support, operation and optimization for the Energy network of certified installation providers.
  • Track and develop metrics to manage projects, project costs and timelines, identify operational risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external stakeholders, contractors, and third-party firms to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality Energy equipment installations.
  • Define and enforce service-level agreements (SLAs), conduct regular performance reviews, implement corrective actions and advise on process improvements as needed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for installers throughout the installation process.
  • Assist in the creation of training and installation resources for Energy products.
  • Ensure installations comply with local codes, utility requirements, and safety standards.
  • Assemble and maintain a documentation repository for permits, inspections, interconnection, incentives and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist with other responsibilities as necessary (Surveys, Data, etc.)
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Operational Scalability: Ability to source, onboard, and activate new installer partners within defined timelines.
  • Installer Network Performance: Percentage of installations completed on time and within budget by installer partners.
  • Installation Timeline: Reduce average installation timeline by 10% to current baseline.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Maintain a positive Net Promoter Score (NPS) or Customer Satisfaction Score (CSAT) for installation experience.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field
  • PMP or equivalent certification; licensed electrician; comfort with reading and critiquing site plan sets, permitting and utility application procedures
Experience
  • 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in residential construction, electrical installations, residential solar, storage or EV infrastructure.
  • Track record of proactive operational excellence, experience developing, tracking and managing operations for trade-based, electrical or equivalent, service networks and or comparable experience.
