Job summary

Insight Global seeks an experienced Electrical Systems Program Engineer to act as technical lead across data center electrical infrastructure projects. You will own issue resolution, coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams, and drive accountability from design through commissioning.

You will represent the owner's interests, lead multidisciplinary project teams, and ensure successful execution of complex electrical systems in mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Experience with data center, mission critical, or large capital projects.
• Strong understanding of MV and LV power distribution, switchgear, UPS, generators, and protection.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead and owner’s representative for electrical systems from design through commissioning.
• Coordinate across contractors, vendors, and internal teams to drive accountability.
• Own issue resolution and ensure successful project execution within scope, schedule, and budget.

Duration: 1 year long contract with extensions

We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Systems Program Engineer to serve as the technical lead and coordination point across multiple stakeholders involved in mission-critical data center electrical infrastructure. This individual will own issue resolution, drive accountability, facilitate cross-functional alignment, and ensure successful execution of complex electrical systems from design through commissioning.

The ideal candidate combines deep electrical engineering expertise with strong project leadership skills and can confidently represent the owner's interests in discussions involving contractors, vendors, manufacturers, and internal teams.

Compensation: $65hr to $90/hr + OT (Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.)

Must Haves:

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• PE License preferred but not required

Technical Experience

• 7+ years of electrical engineering experience
• Data center, mission critical, utility, power generation, industrial manufacturing, semiconductor, or large capital projects preferred
• Strong understanding of: Medium and low voltage power distribution, One-line diagrams, Switchgear, UPS systems, Generators, Transformers, Protection and controls and Electrical commissioning
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams
