Job summary

Rodrigue’s Electrical Service in Thibodaux, LA seeks an Electrical Project Manager to lead multiple projects from planning to execution. You will coordinate internal crews and subcontractors, review drawings, manage procurement and equipment needs, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years PM experience, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office. This role is on-site with growth opportunities and direct client interaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in PM or related field.
• 2–3 years of project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and adheres to Health, Safety, and Environmental program.
• Develops cost-effective project plans and schedules.
• Coordinates and supervises crews and subcontractors.
• Manages equipment needs, sourcing, logistics, and safety.
• Procur es materials and issues purchase orders; coordinates deliveries.
• Reviews drawings to ensure specs and regulations are followed.
• Administers construction contracts and obtains permits/licenses.
• Tracks schedule and costs to meet time and budget.
• Forecasts revenue, profitability and costs for projects.
• Generates regular project reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Identifies scope changes and ensures appropriate actions.
• Provides job costing data and tracks costs through projects.
• Attends required meetings and training.

Electrical Project Manager Qualifications:

• A Bachelors Degree in Project Management or a related field preferred
• Minimum two to three years of project management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and PDF files
• Valid State Drivers License.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promotes, executes and adheres to the companys Health, Safety, and Environmental program.
• Minimizes exposure and risks by implementing safety standards and quality assurance controls.
• Develops cost-effective plans and schedules for completion of projects.
• Coordinates and supervises internal crews and subcontractors as well as manages day to day operational and tactical aspects of multiple projects in a supervisory role.
• Manages job-specific equipment needs, including sourcing, logistics, and safety assessments.
• Manages procurement of materials including issuing purchase orders and coordinating deliveries.
• Reviews architectural and engineering drawings to make sure that all specifications and regulations are being followed.
• Responsible for proper administration of construction contracts and for obtaining all necessary permits and licenses.
• Tracks and controls construction schedule and associated costs to achieve completion of projects within the allocated time and budget.
• Reports to the Manager about progress and any necessary modifications of plans that seem indicated.
• Represents the company in project meetings and manages day to day client interactions and expectations
• Accurately forecasts revenue, profitability and costs for projects and works to achieve revenue goals set for projects.
• Generates and issues regular internal and external project reporting.
• Proactively identifies changes in project scope and revenue and ensures appropriate measures are taken.
• Provides accounting withaccurate job costing data and tracks job costs through the duration of a project.
• Attends meetings and required training as needed.
• Perform other duties or task as required based on companys needs.
