Job summary

Jobot in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead complex commercial electrical projects in New England. This on-site leadership role requires strong PM skills and a track record with union contractors.

You will plan, budget, schedule, mentor electricians, review designs, and coordinate with architects and vendors to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery. Applicable license and 5+ years experience in commercial electrical construction are required;

Qualifications

• Must hold Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of project management experience in commercial electrical construction.
• Experience working with union electrical contractors.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations.
• Proven budgeting and scheduling skills with risk management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of electrical projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction professionals to design and implement electrical systems.
• Supervise and mentor a team of electricians and apprentices, ensuring safety and quality.
• Review and approve electrical designs, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure materials and equipment.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure codes and specifications compliance.
• Prepare and present project updates and progress reports to stakeholders.
• Resolve project issues and disputes in a timely and effective manner.
• Maintain a safe and clean job site by enforcing procedures and regulations.
• Stay updated with latest trends and advancements in the electrical construction industry.

Qualifications

• 3. Proven experience as a licensed journeyman working with union electrical contractors.
• 4. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations.
• 5. Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• 6. Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• 7. Proficient in using project management software and tools.
• 8. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• 9. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• 10. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
