Qualifications

  • 5+ years of electrical project installation or related construction experience.
  • Experience with estimating, budgeting, scheduling, billing, forecasting, and project controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and cost reports.
  • Licensed Electrician or hands-on electrical construction background preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare bids, takeoffs, cost estimates, preconstruction budgets, and project schedules.
  • Manage projects in accordance with contract drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Process and manage shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, change requests, and change orders.
  • Prepare schedules of values, billings, cost reports, and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor project labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
  • Analyze project performance and forecast schedule, cost, and cash-flow position.
  • Coordinate with vendors and resolve submittal, delivery, labor, scheduling, and payment issues.
  • Lead and participate in project meetings with clients, field leadership, vendors, and project partners.
  • Coordinate electrical work with other trades and overall project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and timely project documentation and reporting.
  • Support a positive, dependable, and team-focused working environment.

We are hiring an Electrical Project Manager in Highlands Ranch, CO, to oversee electrical construction projects from initial bidding and preconstruction through final execution and closeout.

This position requires strong electrical construction knowledge, financial awareness, and the ability to build productive relationships with customers, field teams, vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.

What You’ll Do
  • Prepare bids, takeoffs, cost estimates, preconstruction budgets, and project schedules
  • Manage projects in accordance with contract drawings, specifications, and project requirements
  • Process and manage shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, change requests, and change orders
  • Prepare schedules of values, billings, cost reports, and financial forecasts
  • Monitor project labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs
  • Analyze project performance and forecast schedule, cost, and cash-flow position
  • Compare field progress against project schedules and budget expectations
  • Coordinate with vendors and resolve submittal, delivery, labor, scheduling, and payment issues
  • Lead and participate in project meetings with clients, field leadership, vendors, and project partners
  • Coordinate electrical work with other trades and overall project requirements
  • Maintain accurate and timely project documentation and reporting
  • Support a positive, dependable, and team-focused working environment
What You’ll Bring
  • 5+ years of electrical project installation or related construction experience
  • At least 2 years of experience or working knowledge involving electrical construction, design, finance, and project management
  • Experience with estimating, budgeting, scheduling, billing, forecasting, and project controls
  • Strong knowledge of RFIs, submittals, change orders, contract documents, and project reporting
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and cost reports
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and client relationship skills
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with field teams, vendors, subcontractors, and other trades
  • Proficiency with construction management, estimating, and standard business software
  • Licensed Electrician or hands-on electrical construction background preferred

Monday-Thursday, 7:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; Friday, 7:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
