Job summary

M3 Engineering & Technology Corp. seeks an Electrical Project Engineer to support daily project management, interface with clients, and direct designers and production staff to deliver on-time, quality electrical deliverables in Tucson, AZ.

You will assist with electrical conceptual and detailed designs, code compliance, budgeting, and coordination with procurement and field teams, traveling as required to project sites and other offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Experience with electrical conceptual designs, methods and materials specifications.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and 3D modelling (Inventor, Revit) and MS Office.
• Experience with electrical power distribution, grounding, motor control, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems.
• Experience with NEC/building code compliance and feasibility studies.
• Willingness to travel domestically & internationally.
• Ability to work in a project team with limited supervision.
• Valid passport or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support daily electrical project management and client interfacing.
• Direct designers in the development of electrical construction drawings and deliverables.
• Ensure NEC/building code compliance and adhere to budgets and schedules.
• Assist with procurement and construction activities.
• Work under the direction of senior engineers.
