We are currently interviewing for the position of Electrical Estimator.

This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits, including 401K with a match, health, vision and dental insurance and vacation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

·Manage the bid process with consistency.

·Attend job walks and clearly communicate your findings with the team.

·Review bid packages and understand scopes of work.

·Analyze contract documents, site conditions, plans, specifications, etc. to determine full scope of work as it may not be fully defined.

·Complete detailed material takeoff for various electrical installations and systems.

·Develop relationships with material providers, equipment vendors and subcontractors, and obtain current, competitive pricing for all related scope.

·Generate information for the proposal letters, including clarifications and exclusions.

·Prepare reports and bid forms required by certain bid items or conditions.

·Participate in project kickoff meetings and transfer of knowledge to the execution team.

Qualifications:

·Minimum of 1 years in an estimating roll.

·Journeyman level field experience is preferred.

·Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite and other software applications.

·Written and verbal communication skills are a must.

·Must be able to read, understand and interpret the following:

oSpecifications

oScopes of work

Candidates must be highly organized, communicate effectively and work independently with minimal supervision. Additionally, you must have a strong desire to learn and grow. We are looking for someone who is dependable, with good time management skills.
