Job Summary

Lead a team of engineering professionals, overseeing performance and development, while driving results in power distribution, wireless charging, A/V, batteries, cable management, building automation, and other electrical/electronic technologies. Conduct cost analyses, investigate competitive products, provide technical direction, and manage resources to meet departmental goals.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
• Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with business goals.
• Ensure product concepts are manufacturable and meet requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Establish and document product requirements; train team on DVP&R.
• Manage and motivate engineering team, fostering collaboration.
• Oversee budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
• Perform all essential functions with/without accommodations.
• Use office automation tools and software.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering
• At least 5 years of electrical product design and development experience
• At least 2 years supervisory experience
• Ability to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance
• Unrestricted right to work in the US

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical design and development experience
• 5+ years supervisory experience
• Experience with low voltage power systems for office environments
• Project management and quality assurance experience
• Team leadership and industry knowledge
• Product testing and code compliance (UL)
• Excellent communication skills
