UL Solutions in Melville, NY seeks a project manager for New Work Certification and Follow-Up Service projects in the wire and cable business. You will handle heavy customer interaction via email, Teams, and phone, and prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines.

The role requires independent work ethic, strong communication, and collaboration. You will support sales in quotes and participate in continuous improvement initiatives and special engineering projects.

Qualifications

• University degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Determines project scope, develops a plan, and defines specifications including cost and sample requirements.
• May travel to client sites to conduct or witness tests and explain services.
• Follows up with clients and negotiates completion dates and sample needs.
• Communicates technical issues, UL procedures, and project costs to clients.
• Provides technical assistance on product inspection and follow-up services.
