Position Overview

We are hiring an Electrical Design Engineer in Alpharetta, Georgia, to design, develop, and build Low and Medium voltage switchgear for generator paralleling applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret customer specifications and drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards (NEC, UL 508, UL 891, UL 1558, UL MV, CSA 22-2, ANSI).
• Create bills of materials in ERP systems.
• Guide purchasing and procurement teams.
• Coordinate with CAD designers on wiring and assembly drawings.
• Support manufacturing processes.
• Develop and validate PLC code for generator control systems, interfacing with communication protocols.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication abilities.
• Experience managing multiple priorities.
• Technical expertise in relevant technologies.
• Product design and development experience.

Top Candidates Will Also Have

• Electrical engineering degree.
• PLC experience with Schneider and/or Allen Bradley.
• UL508A control enclosure design experience.
• Power engineering and relay programming skills.

• Location: Alpharetta, GA.
