Job summary

MAU Workforce Solutions in Columbia, SC is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to lead the electrical scope of custom process system projects from design through commissioning, serving as the technical link between engineering, manufacturing, vendors, and customers. This is a direct-hire opportunity with a leading provider of process systems.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Electrical Engineering and 3+ years of experience in industrial electrical systems, with familiarity in PLC/HMI

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required.
• 3+ years in industrial electrical systems, controls, or project engineering.
• Experience reading electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control drawings.
• Familiarity with Allen-Bradley PLC/HMI (programming not required).
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical project activities from kickoff through commissioning.
• Drive projects to completion safely, on schedule, within budget.
• Review designs, schematics, panel layouts, and documentation for accuracy.
• Manage electrical schedules and deliverables with internal teams and customers.
• Coordinate FAT and ensure compliance with contracts and specs.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed for meetings and commissioning.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
