Job summary

McGraw Kokosing is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to support a team delivering large-scale industrial construction projects. You will be involved from pre-construction through final acceptance, directly responsible for project safety, quality, budget, schedule, and controls.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management and at least 2 years of related project engineering experience, plus ability to read drawings, review plans, and manage vendor

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a construction project engineer.
• Bachelor/degree in electrical engineering or construction management.
• Ability to read drawings and interpret work specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage project engineering and related personnel functions and activities.
• Ensure compliance with company and contract requirements and support overall construction schedule.
• Prepare documents to obtain quotes from vendors to provide material, equipment, and other specialty items.
• Track material deliveries.
• Interface with departments on budgeting, staffing, discipline of employees, training/development, scheduling and other activities involving discretion and judgment.
• Review engineering plans and vendor submittals.
• Monitor crew assignments to ensure productivity goals are met.
• Conduct field walks and spot checks of work being performed.
• Ensure compliance with county, state and OSHA policies and regulations.
