Job summary
A leading science company in Piedmont, SC, is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to provide engineering leadership for small to medium-sized projects. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of industrial maintenance experience and expertise in electrical engineering design. Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance (preferably in chemical/refinery).
- Design and installation experience of low to medium voltage electrical systems.
- Experience with instrumentation design and control system protocols.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple capital and expense projects from concept to execution.
- Develop project scopes, cost estimates, and schedules.
- Provide electrical design input for production and maintenance activities.
Skills
Industrial maintenance experience
Electrical engineering design
Process control design expertise
Knowledge of DCS systems
Knowledge of variable frequency drives
Familiarity with electrical design software
Project design and management skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
