IMEG is growing! We seek an Electrical Project Engineer – 1 in our Greenwood Village office, specializing in commercial interiors, tenant improvements, and related markets. You will lead design efforts for low to moderate complexity projects, primarily in the commercial interiors and tenant improvement market, working closely with peers and clients to ensure project success within budget and timelines, mentoring junior engineers along the way.

Principal Responsibilities

• Lead electrical system analysis and design, creating detailed designs and calculations per codes and standards.
• Engage with clients to understand needs, gather requirements, and communicate effectively.
• Support project execution within fast-paced environments, managing multiple projects, and documenting design decisions.
• Propose innovative solutions, collaborate with senior staff, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Evaluate and re-use existing electrical systems in renovation projects.
• Oversee design reviews, implement quality control, and stay current with industry trends.
• Prioritize safety and collaborate across disciplines to meet project goals.
• Manage projects through construction administration and client communication.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Proficiency in electrical design tools, analysis software, and industry standards.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and mentorship abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and willingness to travel up to 10%.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering; PE license preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in building design consulting, 4 years preferred.
• Alternative: Associate’s degree or BIM/Engineering certification with 6+ years’ experience.

Physical Requirements

• Standard office physical activities; ability to lift objects up to 25 pounds.

Salary Range: $92,000 - $123,000, with benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, bonuses, and stock options.
