Job description

Sagebrush Pipeline Equipment is a Tulsa-based manufacturer of engineered-to-order process systems for the natural gas, pipeline, and power markets. The team designs and builds complete, skid-mounted systems that integrate mechanical, piping, and control systems into fully functional packages delivered directly to customers.

Work is highly hands‑on and system‑focused, with engineering working closely with fabrication and production teams to ensure every design is buildable and performs in the field.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Support the design and execution of electrical and control systems for natural gas process equipment and skid-mounted systems
  • Work across instrumentation, controls, and electrical components within integrated system designs
  • Develop electrical schematics and support system‑level design for control systems and signal integration
  • Assist with the integration of instrumentation, valves, transmitters, and electrical components into complete system packages
  • Support creation of customer submittals and engineering documentation
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers, production teams, and project stakeholders to ensure systems are functional and build‑ready
  • Contribute to system‑level design by ensuring all electrical components communicate and function together properly
  • Support project execution across design, documentation, and system integration activities
What You Need
  • Experience working with electrical, controls, or instrumentation systems in an industrial environment
  • Familiarity with instrumentation and controls systems rather than only basic electrical design
  • Ability to create and interpret electrical schematics
  • Experience working on complete systems rather than isolated electrical components
  • Experience working with PLCs, SCADA, HMI, or control systems
  • Understanding of how electrical and control components integrate into a functioning system
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred, but equivalent hands‑on experience will be considered
  • Ability to work on‑site in Tulsa, Oklahoma
What Will Not Work
  • Experience limited to PLC programming only without broader system integration exposure
  • Candidates focused on individual electrical components or circuit design without system‑level understanding
  • Background focused primarily on high‑level project coordination without hands‑on technical involvement
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with skid‑mounted systems, modular systems, or packaged equipment
  • Background in natural gas systems, pipeline equipment, or industrial process environments
  • Experience with Allen Bradley PLC systems, SCADA, or HMI platforms
  • Familiarity with hazardous environments such as Class 1 Div 2
  • Exposure to instrumentation devices such as transmitters, valves, and control elements
  • Experience working in fabrication environments, equipment manufacturing, or EPC projects with system‑level involvement
  • Experience working across multiple engineering disciplines including mechanical, electrical, and process systems
What Makes This Role Different
  • Opportunity to work on complete, integrated systems rather than isolated electrical tasks
  • Direct collaboration with fabrication and production teams
  • Work that translates directly into real equipment delivered to customers
  • Exposure to a wide range of system designs and industrial applications
  • Opportunity to grow within a systems‑focused engineering environment with strong internal support
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Short- and long‑term disability
  • Relocation assistance available
