PacRim Engineering Inc in San Diego, California is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join their dynamic team. This position offers the opportunity to design electrical systems for military and government facilities, as well as commercial and educational construction projects.

We are looking to hire an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our team of managers, engineers, and designers, representing the industry's top talent.
The position performs general electrical engineering work under the direct supervision of a project manager for clients the company serves in various markets. The position will, with increasing ability and confidence, apply fundamental engineering training, knowledge, and experience to deliver independently prepared and completed tasks and projects including engineering studies and site assessment and investigation reports; power distribution calculations for voltage drop, switchboards, panel boards, transformers, wire and cable tray sizing, conduit fill, and ampere interrupting capacity; electrical designs of most elements of a project; preparation of Basis of Design (BOD); preparation of fully designed plans, specifications and estimates (PS&E), and other engineering reports, cost estimates, and construction support. The position will coordinate with other team members, provide directions to others, participate in planning tasks, prepare budget/project schedules, and partake in clients/team interactions.
