Job summary

Odyssey Information Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to support capital and maintenance projects in oil & gas and heavy industrial environments. You will lead projects from scope through startup and coordinate with EPCs, vendors, and operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, strong HV/MV power systems experience, and expertise in ETAP and protective relaying, with preference for Brownfield sites. On-site Houston, TX area.

Qualifications

• Bachelore2s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Industrial electrical project engineering experience.
• Strong HV/MV power systems, SEL relays, motors, grounding, and protection experience.
• Construction, commissioning, and startup experience.
• ETAP or equivalent power system analysis experience.
• Brownfield/operating facility experience preferred.

• Develop/review SLDs, load lists, specifications, schematics, and electrical studies.
• Manage MOC activities and coordinate EPCs, vendors, operations, and contractors.
• Support transformers, switchgear, MCCs, large motors, VFDs, and protective relaying.
• Perform/review load flow, short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, ANSI, and NFPA 70E.
