Job Summary

Industry-leading manufacturer in a growth phase seeks an Electrical Project Engineer to lead CAPEX (capital projects) and smaller maintenance projects. Candidates should have experience in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments, with a strong team-player mindset, leadership ability, and excellent communication skills. Salary: $95,000 - 140,000 per year

Work hours: 8am to 4pm

Responsibilities

• Manage capital (CAPEX) and maintenance projects
• Conduct failure analysis and troubleshoot electrical issues
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to improve electrical systems' efficiency and reliability
• Program, modify, and troubleshoot industrial automation equipment (PLCs, robotics, etc.)
• Design automation systems as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or BSEET preferred
• At least 3 years of related experience in heavy industrial (metals, paper, chemical) or heavy manufacturing (automotive, appliances, etc.)
• 3+ years electrical project engineering/management experience
• Experience with industrial automation (PLCs), high voltage, power distribution, and related electrical topics
