Job summary

PowerSecure, a Southern Company subsidiary, seeks a Project Development Engineer to serve as the technical resource for the DI sales team. You will support pre-sale scope, costing, and application, and stay engaged post-sale as part of the project management team on DI turn-key and specialty projects.

You will develop concept drawings, review specs, and coordinate with sales, engineering, and fabrication teams to ensure accurate scope, schedule, and delivery.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical degree.

Responsibilities

• Balance multiple projects and documentation requirements.
• Effective prioritization and management of pre-sale and post-sale tasks within ERP system.
• Travel as necessary to client project, vendor, job site and event locations.
• Read and communicate in English.
• Develop and lead projects.
• Present and lead customer meetings.
• Specify and obtain accurate vendor quotes.
