Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC is seeking a Production Support Electrical Engineer to join our Tucson, AZ team. You will assess complex hardware, troubleshoot issues, and drive corrective actions within a production environment.

Qualifications include experience with digital, analog, RF or mixed-signal testing, interpreting schematics/BoMs, and proficiency with lab equipment. A BSEE or equivalent is required, with 2–5 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with digital, analog, RF and/or mixed signal testing or debugging complex circuit cards or electro-mechanical systems.
• Experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, power supplies, etc.
• Ability to interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and BoMs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Resolve production and supplier issues, including troubleshooting and coordinating corrective actions.
• Maintain and update technical drawings and documentation, including preparing change packages for review boards.
• Diagnose hardware failures using a range of electronic test equipment and analysis tools.
• Evaluate defect and yield data to drive process improvements and reduce recurring failures.
• Collaborate with suppliers, create Statements of Work, and support general electrical engineering activities in production environments.
