Job summary

Miller Electric Company in Charlotte, NC seeks a Prefabrication Designer to support prefabrication initiatives for construction projects. You will collaborate with the Prefabrication Manager and contribute to the company's success by delivering accurate, timely work.

You will create documentation using AutoCAD, Revit, Excel, and Bluebeam, edit schedules, help develop bills of materials, and ensure design intent is reflected in field fabrication while meeting rigorous timelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in commercial electrical with a focus on conduit fabrication and installation.
• Ability to read and interpret Construction Drawings & Documentation.
• Experience running crews of electricians preferred.
• Membership in the IBEW will be required as a condition for employment (if not currently a member).

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Miller Electric-Prefabrication Designer Reports to the Prefabrication Manager. Responsibilities are focused on supporting Prefabrication Initiatives for the Company. In this role you will be able to contribute to the overall success of the company by performing all assigned duties in a professional, timely, and accurate manner.#Miller#LI-JJ1

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a willingness to learn and efficiently use software such as Bluebeam, Microsoft 365, and file-sharing platforms.
• COINS experience preferred

Physical Demands

• Ability to work in an industrial environment
• Ability to maneuver 25+ lbs on a regular basis
• Ability to withstand extended exposure to a computer monitor, which may at times bestraining on the eyes
