Job summary

Sequoyah Electric is seeking a Preconstruction Project Engineer based in Redmond, WA to support preconstruction activities. The successful candidate will assist in project planning, execution, quality control, and overseeing project documentation including estimates and correspondence.

Minimum 2+ years of experience in electrical construction is required, along with strong project management skills and a good understanding of engineering principles. Excellent benefits package available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in electrical construction industry as estimator or project engineer.
• Understand principles of architectural, civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering.
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring project planning, execution, and closure.
• Track project risks, scope changes, and pricing updates.
• Prepare project estimates, budgets, and bid packages.
• Review project documents for scope gaps and constructability concerns.
• Coordinate information between estimating, operations, and field teams.
