Are you a power systems expert ready to shape the next era of satellite technology?

We’re partnered with an industry-leading space and aerospace innovator that’s redefining how communication systems operate in orbit. As they expand their engineering capabilities across next-gen satellite programs, they’re hiring a Principal Electrical Power Systems Engineer to lead EPS design, integration, and optimization.

You’ll work across a range of satellite platforms, helping deliver critical power architecture from concept through launch.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead end-to-end design and development of satellite Electrical Power Subsystems
• Define power budgets, execute trade studies, and optimize SWaPC
• Drive integration and testing of batteries, solar arrays, PCUs, and power distribution systems
• Guide innovation in energy storage and DC-DC power conditioning
• Own test strategy including HIL testing, environmental validation, and launch readiness
• Mentor and guide cross-functional EPS teams and junior engineers

What You’ll Need:

• 9+ years’ experience designing satellite or aerospace power systems
• Expertise in solar arrays, battery systems, BMS, PCUs, and DC-DC converters
• Deep familiarity with power simulation tools like SPICE, SIMPLIS, MATLAB, and Simulink
• Working knowledge of NASA or ECSS EPS design standards
• US Citizenship (required due to program restrictions)
• Proven ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and projects
