Beacon Home Services in Manassas, VA is seeking a Parts Runner to ensure timely delivery of electrical and plumbing parts to worksites and suppliers. This role focuses on on-time delivery, basic loading/unloading, and learning the company’s software systems.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, is comfortable with new technology, and demonstrates strong attention to detail and customer service while working under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technology and software.
• Willingness or ability to recognize plumbing and electrical parts and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload electrical and plumbing materials onto vehicles, ensuring proper techniques to prevent damage during transit.
• Coordinate pickups and deliveries, transporting parts via company vehicle to designated locations.
• Assist with inventory control tasks when required, including maintaining accurate records.
• Keep trucks organized and stocked with required supplies.
• Learn and utilize technology or software systems as needed to support delivery and inventory management.
• Develop the ability to recognize or be willing to learn about plumbing and electrical parts and equipment.
• Communicate regularly with the Inventory Manager to ensure smooth workflow and alignment.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism in all customer and team interactions.
• Safely operate company vehicles and follow all safety regulations and protocols.
