Job summary

Etched is seeking electrical engineering interns to contribute to hands-on product design and the development of validation infrastructure for boards powering bleeding-edge systems. This internship is based in our San Jose, CA office with Fall ’26, Spring ’27, and Summer ’27 programs.

The Platform Team builds the full-stack system from PCB to rack, and interns will work across mechanical and electrical engineering areas under direct mentorship from industry leaders.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on hardware experience with boards or real mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of board design cycle, power delivery and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate boards for bleeding-edge systems and silicon.
• Collaborate across mechanical and electrical engineering to support the platform.
• Contribute to design and validation infrastructure during internships.
