Job summary

Barton Staffing Solutions, Inc. is currently hiring Production Assemblers for a manufacturing company in Franklin Park, IL. Candidates should have manufacturing experience, basic blueprint knowledge, and solid math skills to learn electrical panel assembly and wiring.

Pay is $22/hour. 1st Shift: Mon–Fri 6:00 AM–2:30 PM; 2nd Shift: Mon–Fri 2:30 PM–11:00 PM. This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity with growth potential.

Qualifications

Previous manufacturing experience required.
Basic knowledge of blueprints and schematic drawings.
Basic math skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to follow written instructions and diagrams.
Ability to use hand tools.
Electrical or panel wiring experience is a plus, but not required.
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Dependable with good attendance.
Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Assemble and wire electrical control panels and bus systems.
Follow wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
Install pre-wired panels into control boxes.
Terminate wiring according to schematics and specifications.
Read and understand blueprints and schematic drawings to determine wiring layouts.
Inspect parts and components for defects and ensure quality.
Use hand tools and other equipment safely and properly.
Diagnose and troubleshoot basic wiring issues.
Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
