Job summary

Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar family, is seeking an assembler to build and assemble electrical panels to customer specifications. You will interpret drawings, operate warehouse equipment, and meet production schedules while maintaining safety and quality.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2+ years of electrical/mechanical background, with proficiency in MS Office and strong dexterity. You may lift up to 75 lbs and work with various hand tools in a team setting.

Qualifications

• Two years electrical and/or mechanical background, including warehousing and assembly.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Strong mechanical and analytical aptitude, with understanding of wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Good manual dexterity and experience with power and hand tools, including engraving equipment.
• Ability to work well independently and as a team member, across departments.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and no color vision hindrances.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble complex electrical panelboards and combination starters.
• Interpret technical documents including drawings, schematics, and bills of materials.
• Operate warehouse machinery and hand/power tools safely.
• Execute physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing long periods.
• Manage logistics tasks including inventory organization, troubleshooting, and shipping prep.
• Own production processes independently over time, scaling with department growth.
