Job summary

PPC Partners is seeking a Quality Technician to ensure electrical control panels are built, tested, and released to meet engineering specifications, customer requirements, and regulatory standards. The role focuses on preventing defects, improving FPY, and enabling repeatable production processes.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will drive quality from the floor and have growth potential into a Quality Manager role in the future.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in electrical field.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC tools, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Experience reading electrical drawings, schematics, and BIM models.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
• Verify compliance with schematics, BOMs, and work instructions.
• Conduct first article inspections and final release checks.
• Execute continuity, point-to-point, and functional testing.
• Validate grounding, torque, and safety requirements.
• Audit wiring, labeling, routing, and terminations.
• Identify and segregate non-conforming materials; generate NCRs.
• Maintain inspection reports and test records; support audits.
• Verify calibration of tools and test equipment; maintain logs.
• Provide guidance and training to technicians.
