Job summary

Daedalus Industrial seeks a QAQC Technician to inspect custom electrical panels during fabrication and before shipment. You will verify panels against engineering drawings, record inspection results, and ensure corrections are completed prior to shipping.

Coordinate with Assembly and Controls teams to meet quality goals. You will read schematics, perform electrical tests, and maintain accurate logs, supporting FATs and safety standards while contributing to on-time delivery and customer

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret, and work from electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and bills of materials.
• Perform continuity, insulation resistance, and voltage tests to verify panel function.
• Familiarity with UL 508A and applicable electrical codes.
• Prior experience in electrical panel assembly, quality control, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of custom panels to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements.
• Conduct tests such as continuity, insulation resistance, and voltage checks to confirm each panel is functioning correctly.
• Use meters and calibrated electrical test equipment to verify panel quality.
• Identify defects and document nonconformances; recommend or implement corrective actions.
• Maintain logs and documentation of inspection results (Quality Log, Panel Tracker, Smartsheet).
• Coordinate with Assembly Technicians, Controls Technicians, Project Managers, and the QAQC Foreman to meet timelines and quality goals.
