Job summary

Nbutexas in Dayton, Ohio is seeking an experienced Electrical Panel Builder for a full-time, on-site position. You will assemble and wire control panels, interpret schematics, and test assemblies in a clean, well‑organized shop with a seasoned engineering team.

The role offers a competitive $65,000–$80,000 salary plus full benefits, including medical, dental, 401(k) with match, and paid time off. Local candidates only; authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certificate preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in panel building, machine wiring, or industrial electrical work.
• Strong understanding of 240V/480V single and 3-phase circuits.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics accurately.
• Familiarity with UL 508A standards and industrial control systems is a plus.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools.
• Must possess good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials.
• Assemble and wire control panels, including mounting and terminating PLCs, VFDs, contactors, and relays.
• Pull and run wire through conduit; bend and mount conduit securely.
• Perform functional and safety testing of assembled panels.
• Troubleshoot and repair wiring issues or component problems during assembly.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.
