Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking an Assembly Technician - Relay to follow shop drawings and assemble relay panels and control panels per engineering specifications. You will test and wire components, ensuring accurate labeling and safe operation.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely with electrical components in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years electrical assembly or panel building experience preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, wire strippers, and crimpers.
• US work authorization without sponsorship required.
• Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background checks.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs+, stoop and bend, sit/stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assemble relay panels, control panels, and electrical enclosures according to drawings.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and blueprints.
• Mount relays, switches, terminal blocks, PLCs, and related hardware.
• Verify proper installation and labeling of components.
• Maintain production records and documentation.
• Follow safety, quality, and work instructions.
• Assist with packaging, shipping prep, and inventory as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to ensure on-time completion.
