Job summary

Crete United seeks a Director of Operations to lead and optimize electrical construction operations in Easton, MA. You will guide project management, field operations, manpower planning, procurement, safety, quality, and project execution to deliver safe, on-time, and profitable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in electrical construction or related commercial/industrial construction operations.
• Experience leading multiple construction projects and operational teams.
• Strong knowledge of electrical construction, project management, scheduling, estimating, labor productivity, procurement, and cost control.
• Understanding of project financials, forecasting, change orders, contracts, and risk management.
• Experience leading and developing Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and field personnel.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day operations of the company's construction activities and provide leadership to Project Managers, Superintendents, General Foremen, and other operational personnel.
• Establish clear operating priorities, expectations, accountability, and performance standards.
• Oversee project execution from turnover through completion, ensuring projects are adequately staffed, scheduled, resourced, and managed.
• Review project performance regularly and intervene early when projects are experiencing financial, schedule, labor, safety, or customer issues.
• Establish consistent project turnover, planning, scheduling, and closeout processes.
• Ensure effective communication between estimating, project management, field operations, purchasing, finance, and safety.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and implement practical improvements that increase productivity and profitability.
