Job summary

Lane Valente Industries, a leading U.S. electrical services provider, seeks an Assistant Operations Manager to support daily operations, dispatch service calls, coordinate technicians, and manage vendor logistics.

The role requires strong organization, autonomy, and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. You will participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule and oversee after-hours support, ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining safety and efficiency across

Qualifications

• 3+ years of operations, dispatch, project coordination, or electrical industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, or related field.
• Electrical industry experience required or strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience coordinating field technicians.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and scheduling/dispatch software.
• Experience with GPS tracking systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch technicians for emergency and scheduled service calls.
• Coordinate technician schedules to maximize productivity and response times.
• Source and coordinate qualified electrical subcontractors and vendors when additional support is required.
• Arrange rental equipment deliveries and pickups, including lifts, generators, and trenching equipment.
• Receive shipments and organize warehouse inventory and staging areas.
• Schedule technicians for service, maintenance, and project work.
• Update job progress in company management software.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
