Formación

• Knowledgeable of basic electronic components (resistors, capacitors, diodes, inductors, transformers, connectors, ICs) and how to research alternate components using datasheets and internet resources.
• Strong teamwork abilities within a hierarchical organization.
• Excellent writing and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Understanding obsolescence concepts and evaluating alternative parts.
• 10+ years' experience in obsolescence management projects.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate alternate replacements for obsolete parts and assess feasibility.
• Perform obsolescence forecasting using monitoring tools and supplier surveys.
• Develop mitigation options and business cases for recommended resolutions.
• Support customer deliverables and reports as part of the project team.
• Manage obsolescence mitigation processes within Product/Program IPTs.
• Identify and mitigate obsolescence risks for legacy and new programs.
• Provide technical and leadership guidance to project teams.
• Lead project execution by planning activities, resources, and schedules.
