Job summary

Alston Construction is seeking an MEP Superintendent – Electrical Focus to lead field execution of electrical infrastructure, commissioning, and energy safety on a Jackson, MS project. You will enforce safety protocols as Energy Marshal and coordinate with trade partners, engineers, and clients to deliver a fully functional facility.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field and at least 5 years of superintendent experience with a GC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent with a construction general contractor.
• OSHA 30-hour Safety Certification.
• First Aid/CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations from site development through commissioning.
• Lead Lean Construction practices, including PPC tracking and Last Planner System.
• Supervise all electrical field installations including medium voltage, low voltage, switchgear, UPS, systems, and grounding.
• Lead commissioning integration across MEP systems and act as Energy Marshal for NFPA 70E compliance.
• Coordinate startup, pre-functional testing, functional testing, and IST activities.
