Job summary

Productivity Inc. in Plymouth, MN is seeking an Electrical / Mechanical Technician to build, troubleshoot, and repair networked vending equipment for manufacturing customers. The role requires experience with low-voltage electrical systems and mechanical repairs, plus basic networking.

Occasional travel and forklift use are involved. The position offers a competitive hourly salary ranges from $28.00 to $31.00, with benefits starting day one, 401(k) with match, PTO, and a clean air-conditioned

Qualifications

• Experience in low-voltage electrical systems and mechanical repairs.
• Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues; proficient with hand and power tools.
• Networking basics: IP networks, LAN/WAN, wireless basics.
• Forklift experience preferred; training available.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• DOT Medical Certification eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Build, troubleshoot, and repair computer networked vending equipment.
• Mechanical assembly: fabricate and assemble cabinets, drawers, coils, etc.
• Electrical assembly: basic wiring and soldering.
• Basic computer networking.
• Test new software features.
• Use of hand and power tools to meet assembly specs.
• Follow drawings and schematics closely.
• Occasional travel to customer locations.
• Maintain organized and clean work area.
• Load and move vending equipment using a forklift.
