Job summary

The role requires safety, teamwork, and the ability to work in varied conditions. Advanced training in CNC/PLC and electrical schematics is encouraged, with duties including following schedules and supporting a safe, efficient shop.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform essential maintenance on plant equipment and foundry/shop machinery.
• Capable of reading blueprints and electrical diagrams to guide repairs.
• Basic working knowledge of trade fundamentals for various repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance work on plant equipment, including electrical repairs and foundry/shop machinery.
• Operate power tools and shop machinery safely.
• Rebuild or create parts for machinery for foundry and shop areas.
• Follow supervisor instructions and scheduled duties.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area daily.
• Demonstrate safety awareness when using tools and machinery.
• Work with others in the maintenance team as required.
• Be open to advanced training in CNC and PLC controls.
• Be willing to training in electrical wiring and schematics.
• Other duties may be assigned.
