Job summary

Valeo is seeking an Electrical Mechanical Technician for the Seymour, Indiana facility. The role operates on the Day Shift (Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 4 PM) with weekends/OT as necessary and focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance for equipment and processes in a global mobility company.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 4+ years of maintenance experience or an technical Associate degree.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of general maintenance experience or an Associate degree in a technical field.
• Ability to work on day shift (8 AM–4 PM) with potential OT.

Responsibilities

• Analyze defects or breakdowns and lead corrective actions; escalate if needed.
• Ensure first and second level maintenance, anticipate interventions, alert leaders when production deviation.
• Support breakdown maintenance resources.
• Fill maintenance intervention requests.
• Realize equipment and process verification prior to start-up.
• Apply ERIM (Equipment Reliability Improvement Management).
