MAC Incorporated in Hayward, California, is seeking a strong Electrical Mechanical Technician for a large manufacturing plant.

The role requires PLC troubleshooting, wiring motors, and working with hydraulics, pneumatics, and safety practices on the shop floor.

Shift is 12 PM to 9 PM with weekend work; pay ranges from $30 to $38.50 per hour depending on DOE, with no shift differential.

Execute predictive, preventative, and breakdown maintenance procedures.
Select, install, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, process, and support equipment and systems.
Support production by troubleshooting and repairing equipment (mechanical/electrical) failures.
Use gauges and test instruments to diagnose malfunctions and failures.
Fabricate and install new equipment for assigned projects.
Weld, repair, and fabricate parts and equipment.
Inspect plant equipment daily to monitor health and functionality.
Inspect process and packaging systems before startup.
Use CMMS for work orders and maintenance procedures.
Communicate deficiencies and information with facilities engineer/manager and co-workers.
Coordinate with maintenance and operations teams for smooth operations.
Maintain parts inventory and requisition of equipment, materials, and supplies.
Assist other maintenance or operations team members as required.
Maintain housekeeping and shop cleanliness.
Implement all safe work practices and programs including safety and environmental standards.
Provide Emergency assistance as required.
Participate in the company’s HAZMAT team.
Work with outside contractors as required.
Maintain knowledge through industry associations and training.
Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
