Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Electrical/Mechanical Production Engineer for a 12-month on-site contract in Berea, KY, supporting xEV production programs and electric motor tooling.

Role includes establishing specs, equipment, processes, and documentation for line projects, with travel to Japan for two weeks and overtime paid at 1.5x. Requires 3+ years in manufacturing and a Bachelor's in engineering (Electrical preferred).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Broad engineering skills with emphasis on automation, control systems, and robotics if electrical focused.
• Led/oversaw the implementation of a new production line.
• Automotive industry experience or 7+ years of engineering experience.
• Documentation: PFMEAs, Control Plans, Work Instructions.
• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline (Electrical preferred).
• Must have electrical background or production/manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Electric Motor programs within xEV Regional Production Engineering group.
• Establish specifications, equipment, processes, quotations, and documentation for programs.
• Oversee development, acquisition, and installation of new manufacturing equipment and production lines.
• Ensure new equipment achieves world-class uptime and reliability and meets specs.
• Collaborate with process engineering, design engineering, QA, maintenance, and production teams.
