Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Hanover, PA is seeking experienced Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technicians for the weekend day shift (Friday–Sunday, 5:30 AM–5:30 PM) to support automated packaging lines.

You will troubleshoot and repair high-speed conveyor systems, work with PLCs, motor controls, drives, sensors, and read electrical schematics; install wiring and conduit as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience (electrical & mechanical).
• Experience with automated conveyors or warehouse tech is required.
• Ability to diagnose issues with sensors, relays, VFDs, and control panels.
• Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs and working at heights up to 30 ft.
• Food manufacturing or packaging experience is a plus.

This is a critical, full-time role supporting automated conveyor systems and high-speed packaging equipment, with a focus on troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance. This role has a required shift of Friday - Sunday 5:30 AM- 5:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and repairing advanced conveyor belt systems and automated material handling equipment
• Working with PLC systems, motor controls, DC/AC drives, and sensor-based automation
