Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation of our facility. Must be proficient in electrical and pneumatic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of industrial machines including conveyors, labeling machines, dry filling machines and packaging equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues, replace or repair defective parts, and test equipment for proper performance.
• Install new machinery and assist in production line layout changes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to identify system malfunctions or needed repairs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and document repair procedures.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to service machinery.
• Mechanic must supply their own hand tools.
• Must have knowledge of GMP.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and support operational goals.
• Adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification .
• Preferably 10 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a similar role.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding environments.
