Job summary

ClarkDietrich Building Systems in Warren, OH is seeking a Multi-Trade Maintenance Employee to maintain plant electrical systems and install new controls. You will perform preventative maintenance and upgrades on mills, conveyors, and other equipment to boost safety, productivity and quality.

The role requires experience with PLC ladder logic, welding (MIG/STICK), and strong mechanical and hydraulic understanding. Candidates should be able to read blueprints and work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years in an environment with high tech machines.
• Preferred background in manufacturing, maintenance, electrical and mechanical work.
• Education: High school/GED or trade school in machines; military equivalent recognized.

Responsibilities

• Follows safety procedures per company and state/federal regulations.
• Implements, upgrades, troubleshoots, repairs, maintains, and installs control systems.
• Reads, edits, and creates PLC Ladder Logic for production equipment.
• Maintains electrical systems and installs new electrical devices and controls.
• Performs preventative maintenance and routine inspections of control systems.
• Communicates with operators to assist with repairs and solutions.
