Job summary

JM Eagle in Magnolia, AR is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, repair and maintain production equipment, buildings and facilities.

You will read mechanical and electrical drawings, diagnose issues and apply proper repair procedures, with hands-on use of welding, power tools and hoisting equipment.

Collaborating with E&R and Production teams, you will train others, follow safety practices and complete required records while keeping work areas clean.

Qualifications

• College or trade school certifications in mechanical and electrical courses.
• 2+ years verifiable experience in electrical & maintenance repairs.
• Able to read and create mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Good knowledge of electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Installs, sets up and maintains mechanical and electrical equipment as directed.
• Diagnoses issues and applies proper repair procedures.
• Operates hoisting equipment and uses power tools safely.
• Interprets mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and PLC programs.
• Trains inexperienced employees on the job as required.
• Keeps E&R equipment and work area clean and orderly.
• Works with Production department at all times.
